1976–1984
The John McKay years
Begin with the inaugural staff and follow the franchise through its first playoff appearances. These seasons cover McKay’s entire nine-year run as Tampa Bay head coach.
1985–1995
A decade of coaching transitions
Explore the staffs led by Leeman Bennett, Ray Perkins, Richard Williamson and Sam Wyche. The 1990 season includes the transition from Perkins to Williamson.
1996–2001
Tony Dungy and the defensive resurgence
These six seasons trace the staff behind Tampa Bay’s return to the playoffs and the defensive identity associated with Dungy and Monte Kiffin.
2002–2008
Jon Gruden and the first championship
Start with the Super Bowl XXXVII championship staff, then explore the following seasons through the end of Gruden’s seven-year tenure.
2009–2020
From Raheem Morris to Bruce Arians
Continue through the Morris, Schiano, Smith and Koetter staffs, then the first two Arians seasons. The 2020 season led to the Super Bowl LV championship in February 2021.

2021 season
Arians’s final season as head coach
Tampa Bay finished 13–4 and won the NFC South. The season completed Arians’s three-year head-coaching tenure before the transition to Bowles in March 2022.
2022–2025 seasons
The start of the Bowles era
Bowles led Tampa Bay to NFC South titles in 2022, 2023 and 2024. His completed-season record and postseason results appear in the head-coach history table.
