Santana Dotson returned a fumble for a score, followed by Mel Gray returning the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown to put the Lions back ahead. Testaverde then drove the Buccaneers downfield on an 80-yard drive ending with a touchdown pass to Ron Hall.
The Liona clawed back once more with no success as the Buccaneers secured the victory when Milton Mack tackled Brett Perriman at the Tampa Bay 3-yard line as time expired.
