Peanut Butter/Brittle Cannonballs

Substitute almond or nut butter for those with peanut butter allergies.

In a large bowl, add peanut butter, melted butter, vanilla, salt and powdered sugar. Beat with an electric mixture until everything is combined.
Roll in peanut brittle
Use a 1-ounce cookie scoop (or about two tablespoons) to portion out the peanut butter/brittle mixture. Roll the 1-ounce portions into smooth balls and place onto a baking sheet.
Refrigerate the peanut butter balls for at least 30 minutes.
Combine coconut oil and chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second increments, stirring between, until the mixture is melted.
Stick a toothpick or a skewer into a peanut butter ball and dip it into the chocolate. Let the excess chocolate drip off and then put it onto a wax paper-lined baking sheet.
Repeat until all the cannonballs are coated. Chill in the fridge for at least 45 minutes before serving.

DT Vita Vea ranked 11th best interior DT in new list

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will debut a revamped defensive line in 2023 after a few departures in free agency, but they’ll have one player who remains feared throughout the league at its center.

DT Vita Vea will be returning to Tampa Bay in 2023, and despite a bit of an injury history, he remains one of the more vaunted defensive tackles in the league. Touchdown Wire’s Doug Farrar listed his top-11 interior defensive tackles in the NFL, and Vea only just made the list at No. 11..

Carlton Davis says post-Tom Brady Buccaneers will 'wreck s---' this season: NFL 'in for a rude awakening'

For the last three seasons, the Buccaneers had one of the greatest quarterbacks -- if not the greatest -- to ever play the game leading our offense. Now that Tom Brady retired, the Bucs will need to make many adjustments, but even without a future of Hall of Famer behind center, they're confident in who they have on the roster.

Bucs cornerback Carlton Davis is one player who is not focused on the loss of TB12. Instead, Davis is taking an aggressive approach to the 2023 season.

"We're about to do it to 'em," Davis said, via Go Long. "Anybody who feels we've lost Tom -- and lost something -- is going to be in for a rude awakening. A rude awakening. Tom was a great addition for us, but obviously it's a team sport. Obviously, you need components to be successful. We still have those components. And I'm only getting better."

Davis clearly has high confidence in himself and his team, and says the "rude awakening" is directed to the rest of the NFL. The 26-year-old said the team has a destroyer-like attitude, predicting many big plays from the defense. "

IMPORTANT 2023 Season Dates

JULY 17:At 4:00 p.m., New York time, deadline for any club that designated a Franchise Player to sign such player to a multiyear contract or extension.

Mid-July ***Clubs may require first-year players to report on the designated reporting date for all rookies. ***Veteran quarterbacks and “injured players” may be required to report to the club’s preseason training camp no earlier than five days immediately prior to the mandatory reporting date. ***Beginning on the date that the first training camp opens for rookies through the last business day prior to the Super Bowl, all tryouts and visits will be reported to clubs on the Personnel Notice. ***At 4:00 p.m., New York time, signing period ends for Transition Players with outstanding tenders.

JULY 24:At 4:00 p.m., New York time, on July 24 (or the first scheduled day of the first NFL training camp [July 19 in 2023], whichever is later) signing Period ends for Unrestricted Free Agents to whom a “UFA Tender” was made by Prior Club. After this date and until 4:00 p.m., New York time, on the Tuesday following the 10th weekend of the regular season, Prior Club has exclusive negotiating rights.

AUGUST 3:Hall of Fame Game, New York Jets vs. Cleveland Browns, Canton, OH

AUGUST 8:If a drafted rookie has not signed with his club by this date, he cannot be traded to any other club in 2023 and may sign a player contract only with the drafting club until the day of the Draft in the 2024 League Year.

AUGUST 10-13:First Preseason Weekend

AUGUST 29:Prior to 4:00 p.m., New York time, clubs must reduce rosters to a maximum of 53 players on the Active/Inactive List. ****Simultaneously with the roster reduction to 53 players, clubs that have players in the categories of Active/Physically Unable to Perform or Active/Non-Football Injury or Illness must select one of the following options: place player on Reserve/Physically Unable to Perform or Reserve/Non- Football Injury or Illness, whichever is applicable; terminate or request waivers with the designation of Failed Physical or Non- Football Injury or Illness, whichever is applicable; request waivers; terminate contract; trade contract; or continue to count the player on the Active List.

AUGUST 30:Claiming period for players placed on waivers at the final roster reduction will expire at 12:00 noon, New York time. **** Upon receipt of the subsequent Personnel Notice, clubs may establish a Practice Squad of 16 players. Clubs participating in the International Player Development Program may sign one additional international player to a practice player contract. No club, including the player’s prior club, will be permitted to sign a player to a practice player contract until all clubs have received simultaneous notification via the above Personnel Notice that such player’s prior NFL player contract has been terminated via the waiver system.

2023/24 NFL SUPER BOWL CONTENDERS

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl 58 odds: +5000

It’s never too early for Buccaneers Fans dreams of Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas, and history has proved on many occasions we should expect the unexpected as we sail to the big game.

The 2022 season left us with a few Barnacles, as our defense was caught wadding in a rip-tide supported by an average offense at best. Despite limiting our opponents to 21.6 PPG, Tampa lost its sail for any efficiency in running the ball, finishing dead last in the league with an average of 75.6 yards per game on the ground.

Despite a season ending flutter, the Buccaneers dominated our division, finishing first in the NFC South with an 8-9 record and the fourth seed in the NFC. In the postseason it was the land-loving Cowboys, who eliminated our BUCS 31-14 in the wild-card round.

Football is as much a mental game, as physical, Tom Brady’s divorce fluttered his final year as he entered retirement, it's clear the BUCS MUST find a viable solution over center this season, either as priority number one or two alongside replacing Todd Bowles, who was hired as head coach. Once the quarterback solution is anchored, raising the offensive line mast and improving the league-worst running game should be key priorities to address as we plot the new season. Bolstering our defensive line would go a long way to improve our pass rush as well.
